The College of Liberal Arts is home to nine departments in the humanities and social sciences and three interdisciplinary centers. Over 6,000 students are currently majoring in Liberal Arts programs, the university's second largest in terms of majors. Liberal Arts has the largest number of full-time faculty at Texas State.
